HLIS, in her conviction that it is better to build children than to repair adults, is unwavering in various charitable works, especially in her drive to raise support for the needy who are struggling to access good education.

It is indeed wonderful to invest in the lives of vulnerable children, helping them stay in school and supporting those in orphanage homes, hospitals, etc.

A Scottish proverb says that charity begins at home, but should not end there. And truly, no act of kindness, no matter how big or small, convenient or not, is a waste. "...but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy." — Prov. 14:21

You can partner with us to support the education of some of our learners, some of whom are hungry, and some of our little friends in various orphanage homes.
